The Last Time Dragon

Story time!!!

Origin of the time dragons:
Some say they came into creation with a single flick of Cosmos’ tail that created a ripple in time that the dragons rode into the world on.

They can see the time lines like ripples in a pond, seeing the course of every action. They can even travel through time. Their instincts since the beginning were to watch over and protect the time lines.

Their home was an outlying island now known as the white isle. The island was unnatural in that crystals abounded everywhere, some say these were the tears of Cosmos which had fallen to the earth in mourning for her sister. There were two important structures on the isle, one was the temple that they called the temple of time, the other was the celestial caves where a great library with records of the past, present, and even some events of the future.

But even something as timeless as a time dragon has an ending. One by one they started to fade out, almost as mysteriously as they sprang up in the beginning until there was only one left. This dragon known as Chronalus traveled to the mainlands where he found a lone earth dragon, he granted all of his powers to him so that he may continue his work of watching over the time streams, he gave this dragon the title of ‘The Chronicler’.

“We time dragons were like a blazing torch in the beginning, but now we have diminished to a flickering candle that has reached the wicks end… perhaps one day we might just be re-kindled. I grant you the last of my powers. You must continue my work where I cannot, watch over and record the events in my stead. For as long as there are dragons there must always be a Chronicler.”

Some say that the Oracle Pythia may have some Time dragon lineage because of her ability to see into the future.

Time Lord dragon!? AWWW YEAAAAAH! Some Doctor Who inspiration here, he even has a bit of a faux-hawk like the tenth doctor. The name Chronalus is taken from the bronze dragon in warcraft Chronalis--who is also a time dragon. I struggled with his design a bit, he kept looking like the Chronicler's twin which was not my intention, but he did grant his powers to him which is why they look so alike. Also was loving those little picture/story thingies is always making involving my characters a lot!!

 I have plans on making some wee babby Time dragons named Tick and Tock, what do ya think of that idea?
