Kindle is a bit shocked and annoyed that the other guardians neglected to teach Spyro and Cynder about the Celestial Guardians, Cosmos being one of them. Well they did have more urgent things to deal with at the time, like getting Spyro trained to face an all powerful dark master.

We all should know. Especially Spyro AND Cynder. Spyro is, after all, the Purple Dragon, and Cynder wasn't given a chance to live by her own choices.
